My professional social media and video roles have included marketing videos and social media content and social strategy (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) for a small liberal arts college, as well as social media content and strategy (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter) for
a respected literary journal.
At Elms College, I operated the institutional social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more) from December 2014 to August 2019, sharing news from campus
and beyond with students, alumni, faculty, families, donors, and the general public in a variety of formats.

Elms College Class of 2017: What’s in Store?
This spring 2017 video spotlights the varied array of outcomes among Elms College grads, with quick talking-heads interviews filmed before the celebrants collected their diplomas.

Here are some more videos from Elms:

This March 2019 promotional video was posted to YouTube and social media to drum up awareness and support for Blazer Blitz, the college’s annual giving day. The video was filmed with student talent and features an address by the president of the college asking students, faculty, alumni, and friends to donate. Shot on iPhone and edited in Adobe Premiere.

This tense 30-second teaser from March 2019 asks an important question. This trailer was shared on YouTube and social media to hype the release of the full “movie” — and, of course, to raise awareness about the upcoming donation drive. Shot on iPhone and edited in Adobe Premiere.

This August 2018 video features interviews with students participating in the college’s annual hands-on volunteering program. In their own words, they describe what they’re doing and why it matters — not only to them, but to the community. Shot on iPhone and edited in Adobe Premiere.

This 2015 video spotlights students in the First-Year Seminar program at Elms College enjoying hands-on experimentation with solar energy and Lego cars under the direction of computer science professor Beryl Hoffman, Ph.D. Shot on iPhone and edited in Adobe Premiere.
Light Matters was a weekly news webcast produced by Photonics Media in the 2010s. As a founding member of the “Light Matters” team, I cohosted and co-wrote the news segments; I also contributed original reporting, photos, video clips, and interviews from photonics industry conferences and events.

More recently, in my spare time, I co-created the YouTube channel Film Trail to share my love of filming locations for movies and TV shows. For this channel, I co-write and co-host the episodes, capture video on iPhone and DJI Osmo Pocket 3 cameras, edit all videos in Adobe Premiere, and post on YouTube and social media.

I also co-created the new YouTube channel Vale + View with the goal of reminding myself how to find a gorgeous view not only at the top of a mountain, but at every step along the way. In addition to cohosting, my duties for this channel include scriptwriting, filming video on iPhone and DJI Osmo Pocket 3 cameras, editing in Adobe Premiere, and social media posting.
